                             Fair Isle knitting is fun...no, really.  Using only two colors at a time, it is a wonderful way to stretch your knitabilities while creating a colorful work of art: with each round, you will see the pattern emerge ... it can be addicting. 
What you need:
Curiosity
Gauge:  5.5 stitches per inch in stockinette

Yarn:    Pacolet Valley Southern Bales: You may use any colors you like, this hat used-
Blue - 2 oz,  56 gr, 124yd       Brown - 1 oz, 28 gr,  56 yd
Red - 1 oz, 28 gr,  56 yd         Gold - 1 oz, 28 gr,  56 yd    
Light Yellow - 1 oz, 28 gr, 56 yd

Needles:  Size 4/16” circular, Size 5/24” circular, & Size 5 double pointed for the crown

Know How:  advanced, determined, vigilant
